A simple story of how dreaming
can get you anywhere, and create
more smiles around the world!

What started with a passion, is now a reality...

Post-a-Digi (& Fridgi) were created by Ian Craigie, a bit of a dreamer. Growing up Ian dreamed of being a race driver, so at 21 he decided to pursue that dream, working many jobs to pay for his racing. Ian has been following his passion and chasing his dream ever since. Along the way he came up with the idea of the Fridgi Magnetic Photo Frame, hoping its sales would help him achieve his goal. With $30 of materials he began making Fridgis on his parents’ verandah, as their popularity grew he took over the garage and then moved into a factory. Fridgi now supplies photo frames across the globe and continues to create new and innovative ways to display, share and enjoy photos.

Post-a-Digi was his next bright idea, inspired by a photo taken on a holiday with friends.

Wanting to share the photo with his friends, without just reverting to email, Ian printed it and posted it to them as a momento and thank you for the trip. He included a Fridgi to save them the hassle of finding a frame when the photo arrived. His friends loved the gesture and the gift, and the photo has been on their fridges ever since. Ian's now made a habit of giving a photo and a Fridgi as a thank you.

Their comments got him thinking that sending a photo and a Fridgi instead of a card was a pretty good idea. It was personal, fun and a lot more special than sending an email, or uploading a photo to a website, or worse, leaving them on your computer. As one friend said to him “Sadly, I don’t really share my photos anymore. I shoot them, download them onto my pc and forget about them."

Ian decided to remedy this, he created Post-a-Digi to make it easy and inexpensive to send a photo, a frame and a message, anywhere in the world (about the same cost as sending a good quality greeting card). His hope is that it will bring back “The Magic” of receiving and sharing printed photos. Post-a-Digis also have a set of magic mounts include so the Fridgi can be put up on almost any hard, flat surface like a wall, door or mirror - not just a fridge!

Post-a-Digi is now a reality for you too, with

  • the simplicity of sending an email
  • the generosity of a gift
  • the magic of a printed photo
  • the personal touch of a written message, and
  • the memories of good times with friends and family.

Post-a-Digi makes it so easy to share a real photo that you’ll form a habit out of sending them too!  Who will you make smile today?
